Born in 1968,  Cemalettin CAMCI, MD completed his medical education, which he started in 1985, at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. He completed his specialty training at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery, between 1992 and 1998. During his specialization training, he won the scholarship awarded within the framework of the Cultural Exchange Agreement between the Norwegian Government and the Turkish Government and worked at Rikshospitalet-Oslo, Norway’s only transplantation center, for 4 months in 1995.

After specialization, he worked as a specialist at Adana Numune Training and Research Hospital for 4 years. Later, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery. Dr. Camci received Liver Transplantation training between 2004-2005 at the Nazih Zuhdi Transplantation Institute in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA, on behalf of the Organ Transplantation Center that was planned to be established within Fırat University Faculty of Medicine. He received the title of University Associate Professor by successfully passing the Associate Professorship Exam held by the Interuniversity Board in March 2006.

Between 2007 and 2008, he received an offer from Nazih Zuhdi Transplantation Institute and worked as an Organ Transplant Research Scientist in USA. He started working as an Associate Professor of General Surgery at Kayseri Acıbadem Hospital in 2009. Dr. Camci was appointed as a Professor in the Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Bilim University in 2012. He provided scientific and educational services at the Istanbul Bilim University Faculty of Medicine, Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital, and acted as Deputy Dean, Head of the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of General Surgery and Operating Rooms Coordinator of Istanbul Bilim University Hospitals.

Since 2016, Dr. Camci has been treating his patients in his private practice.
